The Latest Instructional Design Research Findings

with Jennifer Eichenberg, Eichenberg & associates

If you do not have the time or the inclination to regularly read research, you are likely missing out on critical information that should be incorporated into your intervention and instructional designs.

Some of the research we have been using for years has been debunked, such as the fact that the human brain can hold onto about 7 items, plus or minus two.

This session brings you a snapshot of the latest cognitive and social psychology research that you can apply immediately for improved design outcomes.

Participants will be involved in a reenactment of one to three studies. There will be group discussion about the beliefs of and the application of the research.

Dinner & networking included

From this session, you will:

  • Participate in reenactments of research studies to experience the impact of the study’s findings.

  • Discuss practical application for the cognitive and social psychology research presented.

  • Be able to apply the research findings to your interventions, instructional designs, promotional materials, infographics, and websites.

Directions for parking/locating the room:
